Talking of ridiculous, why is it that things are getting deferred more and more these days? I was supposed to be hearing from ATOS about one of my pension funds at the end of August and when I could expect to receive it, at least that was the excuse that they gave me some weeks back. However the letter didn't arrive until today and the information I wanted wasn't in there. Instead the letter was just to inform me that I will be receiving another letter from them shortly and from a third party of insurers who are going to advise me on my pension options. So this now looks as if it will happen sometime mid to late September whilst I am not available and means that they will have kept me from what is owed to me for yet another month.
Similarly my annual diabetic tests. I was diagnosed in May some nine years ago but each year the tests are deferred by a few weeks so now I can't expect them until mid October at the earliest. I know that it is an excellent way to save money but it doesn't help me in my quest to control my diabetes.
Dear, dear, I am a bit of a misery today. Perhaps it is time for me to go and start cooking the evening meal. That should cheer me up.
Have a rather strange animation called "Myosis"
